About

Price per gram, finally readable.

OrOGramme tracks eleven French stores of second-hand 18-karat gold jewelry and converts every price to one single unit — the gram — to compare without doing the math.

On the second-hand gold market, two nearly identical pieces can show two unrelated prices. Variable weights, set stones, hidden margins. Price per gram puts everything back on the same scale.

Every day, we read the prices of eleven online jewelers, convert them to price per gram of 18-karat gold, and line them up next to each other. A ring, a chain, a pendant finally compare in the same language.

How we calculate

We read every product sheet: net weight, purity, set stones. We divide the listed price by the 18-karat gold weight. The result fits in two characters: €/g. Next to it, we display the day's spot price to show where the listing sits relative to the real market.

One unit, comparable across every site, so you stop wondering whether you're being ripped off.

What OrOGramme is not

Not a marketplace. Not an investment tool. Not a stock-market dashboard. Just a reading aid, to buy or resell your second-hand 18-karat gold with a calm, trustworthy compass.

Ready to compare?

The dashboard shows, live, the price per gram of every tracked product — sortable by store, by budget, by stones.
